CARBON PLATE G125 for Electrolysis Of Seawater

06/18/2014 3:13 AM

Good after noon everyone!

Someone could help me. I am currently looking for carbon plate that will be used for electrolysis of seawater which will be used for filming in vacuum condenser tubes for its protection. May I know if anayone can give me direction where to buy such carbon plate. Below are details which might be useful;

[1] Temperature: around 30deg C.

[2] Pressure: .2~.5MPag

[3] Media: Carbon Plate G125

[4] Application: Electrolysis of SEA WATER

Thank you and I hope to hear from you all.

The term "carbon plate G125" is not universal; perhaps you might elaborate.

TORNADO: I'm sorry i can't elaborate. That is the only available data given for material type. I find it difficult also in searching in the internet about that type of material.

I ran a quick search and only found G125 carbon filament used in some incandescent lamp types. There are many other instances that link to "G 125" that have nothing to do with carbon sheet. I think you want glassy carbon is that is the typical material used for electrodes in contact with water that contains eletrolytes. Solar Eagle seems to have you a great starting point.

I do not really understand why you want to electrolyze water where you are also using a falling film condenser, as this seems a disjoiner. Can you not explain what the project is about just a little better? If not, then go in peace and good luck.
