Futurists Predict Life-Changing Innovations

Posted January 08, 2011 11:25 AM

IBM has named its "Next Five in Five" —five innovations that may change people's lives during the next five years. The list includes holographic friends and air-powered batteries. Advances in 3D cameras and movies are paving the way to "holographic chatting," and batteries that use air to react with energy-dense metal will result in smaller, lighter and longer-lasting rechargeable batteries.

Gotta luv it ...

"By rethinking the basic building block of electronic devices, the transistor, IBM is aiming to reduce the amount of energy per transistor to less than 0.5 volts."

Let us STRIVE to dumb-down the (amelican) public at EVERY opportunity.

Shelves must no longer "support" objects, but "levitate" them.

Thermonuclear devices are now merely "intense heat" generators.

National Geographic is already on-board, with their "Ancient Aliens" series. They are teaching both current and future generations that the vertical rock formations arranged 'thousands of years ago' were most probably set-up as they were, for the purpose of concentrating massive amounts of the earth's magnetic energy... "focusing it into the sky".

We must gots to do just as gooder wurk here in dis professional fourumm...

Dear Guest, stop fighting a war you can't win, just go with the flow (downhill) after all didn't Einstein prove that everything's relative.
