Cybersecurity is one area that didn't make the list for potential government budget cuts — because it's high priority. In fact, the U.S. government can't find enough security pros with government security clearances because most work in the private sector. The issue of not enough qualified personnel is being addressed to some extent by academic programs at universities near Washington, D.C. and career tracks undertaken by the government and industry. But what else can be done in the interim to fill the gap in the short term?
