Mobile Wallet Set to Replace Credit Cards

Someday everybody will have as barcodes tattooed onto the forehead. Then when the cashier has rung up your purchases, you just bow down to the scanner (no dialin' or nuthin'). A "ka-ching" tone (like quarters emanating from a slot machine) will confirm a successful transfer. O Brave New World!

As easy as it is for the typical high school student to hack in to "secure" networks, I don't think I will be trying this out for a while...

Hmmm... first was gold coins (after shells of course) then a fiat to that gold with reserve notes (not reserving anything) then a fiat to paper with credit, then a fiat to credit with electronic bits.... what is money anymore? The bit rule: He who controls the bits makes the rules? Despite it being so very inconvenient, I'll stick to cash.

It's all brilliant - until the power goes off.
