Every year, 1.3 million people are killed and 50 million injured on the world's roads. Carmakers are racing to create a vehicle that will never crash, but can it be done and will drivers accept a computer that overrides their driving?

And to which party's insurance company is the claim sent in this new world?

Give the right idiot enough time and he will still find a way to crash it even if it doesn't start, believe me I've seen it done before!

Simple. Restrict the speed limit to 2 mph, and even a tinfoil vehicle may be crash-proof. (Or at least it won't matter.)

Hey, Tornado. It sure won't matter when he pulls out on I-40 in front of a Simi- haulin a load of drill stem pipe doing 80 MPH.
