Hey, maybe some of that pollution is due to a .com organization. Then the problem could be attacked: http://cr4.globalspec.com/blogentry/19294/Uncle-Sam-If-It-Ends-in-Com-It-s-Seizable

Gee, what a coincidence. We are exporting more coal to China than ever, while simultaneously closing our own coal plants.

It's funny. One would think that the highly esteemed climate experts would know which way the wind blows. I do. In fact I've mentioned this before in my posts. I don't even have a grant or a monitoring station.

Maybe to help offset the pollution, we could get the United Nations to force China to use sail boats to bring us all of the goods that we don't make anymore.

They are called Chinese Junks.

They have been in use for almost 800 years and are still sailing.

I think they've upgraded to container ships, but transporting junk on junks has a certain ring to it.

Actually, the Chinese Junk is a really cool sailing vessel and many are used as private sailing ships. Some are quite beautiful. They do not make very good transports for commodities. ;)

I've seen them. The Chinese have been great builders and artisans for centuries. I think the skills they once had are going by the wayside with the access to easy money.

Sure does look that way.

We send them viable fuel and get particulates and smog in return. The part that's really funny, is that US engineers have devised methods to burn coal very cleanly to meet EPA mandates. In return for their efforts, CO2 was declared a major pollutant.
