This reminds me of them saying that red meat doesn't digest, and people end up with pounds of it rotting in their colons...........................the colonoscopies I get every five years say that they are either ignorant or liars.

Nor does the test take into account the quality of the red meat. Was the meat fed chemicals to promote fast growth in minimal time or long sustainable life food stocks? You are what you eat, eats.

Maybe those who are genetically programmed to die young, have equally a tendency to eat red meat

If I ever have to decide on a choice to kill myself. I chose eating red meat.

I'm going with red meat, smokes, booze and happiness.

I've seen enough ugliness to know to live each day as if it's your last.................within reason of course.

The only thing I'm gonna say goodbye to, are the smokes. Getting off of those this year. Too damned expensive.

Smokes, one habit I never got.

It's a nasty one. I quit for a year, got drunk one time, and ended up right back on them. I mean, I got drunk a lot of times..................just never succumbed to the temptation for a cigarette but once......................that was all it took.

An old buddy of mine told me that I need to quit before I turn 50, which is this year. He smoked a couple of packs a day and he's 80 now.

I have no intention of living too long.
