Dartmoor - stone bridge across the source of the river Dart

That's the SAME bridge, not one of similar design or history (minus, of course the unidentified flying object, which just might be a kite tail)...

So, the bridge is pre-Roman? Has there been any restoration?

To me it looked like "Stonehedge over the Water"! LOL

Actually, while Conan Doyle used the topography of the Moor, he "allowed himself artistic licence with the names. The deadly but fictitious Great Grimpen Mire was inspired by the equally deadly - but all too real - Fox Tor Mire."
