Human Hands Evolved So We Could Punch Each Other

It seems to me that if this were true, there'd be a noticeable difference between male and female hands/fists. Not that some women don't, or can't fight; they can and do. But I think it's safe to argue that over the eons men have done vastly more fist fighting than women, so if fist fighting caused the male hand to have it's shape, then the female hand should have remained monkey/ape-like. Women have better fine motor skills, supposedly due to eons of fine work with needles and hand crafts; whereas men have greater gross motor strength, supposedly due to the eons of use of heavier tools, clubs, swords, computer mice , etc.

But I think it's safe to argue that over the eons men have done vastly more fist fighting than women, so if fist fighting caused the male hand to have it's shape, then the female hand should have remained monkey/ape-like.

I just saw this the other night on a Natiional Geography I believe.

Along the tree of evolution, a string of our ancestors could not rotate our shoulders, and because of that, when they walked, instead of have the palms of our hands facing in, they actualy face forward.

With this draw back they could not throw a spear. So the ones that could adapted survived. And the sucessful passed on these traits to the offspring. My opinion of course.
