I have a mild amount of red-green color blindness. Sometimes I'll see a graph in some online article that I have trouble interpreting due to the choice of colors (shades of colors) of red and green used in the graph. I found the following application to be handy is these cases.

What Color

Good heads up.
I too have red green deficience...
The upside is I don't get dragged around choosing soft furnishings... or paint.

I don't really get the concept of 'go' as in " That shirt doesn't go with those trousers"... do I care? Once I've splobed marmalade and tea over 'em they'll 'go' just fine

It's interesting, even though your lack the colors, your detail is probably higher, ( going back to my 7th grade science classes, it has something to do with rods and cones corelations....)

When I was at the shipyard, one of the machine operators was colored blind, I mentioned that there was a time when the military would use this when they went out on patrols because they had a higher degree of details, could ealy pick out detailos such as people hiding in the bush......He laugh at me and told me I was a BS'er....

Anyway, soon after, one of our CNC routers had went down as we where machining aluminium, I was dismantling the head to repair it, and dropped a very small specialize screw in about 4" of aluminium shavings, (these shavings every (4) hours we would remove 3-4 (55) gallon drums what the vacuum system did pick up). I thought it was a lost cause.)

Anyways this operator told me to step back, he stood about 10-15 feet away and looked in the pile of aluminium shavings and I'll be a SOB if he did not pick out this screw which was about 3/16" long..... I could never have found that on a clean floor.

I asked him, don't you see that as odd or luck......... I'll make another graph if you like.

Lenses could cure colour blindness...... .... Yeah, but what about 'color' misspelling?...no hope for that, probably. :-)

Gee, I guess I'm more color blind than I thought.

I don't see any color there at all...!

Cure? At best, a treatment, but not a cure.

I can tell you, my hearing aids have done absolutely nothing to cure my hearing deficit, but they sure help me cope with it.
