3D Printed Food Development Funded By NASA

NASA is reportedly giving a 3D printing company a six month, $125,000 grant to work on the project.

And then one day, a few years in the future, NASA will tout this as another 'spin-off' of space exploration. -- Just like so many of the things developed by private companies that NASA takes credit for.

Most of those 'NASA spinoffs' - ahh, no, they're not. Like this, NASA gives a bit of money to a company already working on a technology, then later claims it's a 'spin-off' developed by NASA (and company XYZ).
