Although Ed worked as a marine fire and rescue boat pilot for 30 years his first day of cross training as a land based fire and rescue truck driver was not so..... well you get the idea His work didn't float so to speak.

No officer I wasn't texting. I was thinking about how many bricks a bow can bend before it explodes and I drove right off the road while trying to do the calculations.

Seriously officer I can give you a link you can check out yourself later if you really don't believe that it's a real honest engineering problem!

(That's how you can drive a fire and rescue truck into a pond and not get a ticket for it!)
