I said "Repair the bridge on the M3.", not "Repair the bridge with 3M."

OSH would have a field day with this blatant safety violation, look at how poorly it is secured for transport.

Once again, our ace mechanics have decided on the Duct tape fix. It is interesting that they have moved away from the standard RTV repairs that they are noted for.

dear CR4 community.

Over a couple of beers last night, I & my pal from the EBRT engineered a solution on the pending visit of his mother in law. He asked me to express his sincere gratitude to CR4 for making me such a clever guy. If this shuts her up then he wants to patent the solution. He says that the added benefit is that she gets a free mustache removal.

with best regards.

Do you think we can get that house across if we use enough tape on the bridge first?

Where is the large can of WD40 to go with it.

With WD40 and duct tape you can fix anything!

Gotta be careful with da WD40 an duct tape they don't play well together. Wat ya need is a big ball of baling wire or zip ties.

Here, they'll need this special tool for cutting the duct tape:

That looks like a heck of a lot of work invested in one ancient visual joke for a very short laugh.

''...say, buddy! Maybe you can help us out. After more than four years, my brother-in-law finally got the City of Minneapolis to give us the Maintenance Contract on the I-95 Bridge. We made the lowest bid, but now we're lost and need directions. Which is the best way to get there from here?...''

(to clarify, this supposed to be a slap up-side the head(s) of the bureaucrat(s) that OK-ed the decision to load said bridge with construction materials, for years, and then allowed even more construction materials to be stored on it, thereby accelerating it's collapse, right after it's design-life expired... and then had the gall to blame engineer(s) who built it to the Code in force at the time, because the original senior engineers were no longer around to defend themselves... those bureaucrat(s) probably think that was hilarious...)
