Bill Nye's Box

Posted September 22, 2013 4:32 PM by Chelsey H

It seems like Bill Nye has made quite a comeback in the public eye the last few months, from a speaking engagement that yours truly attended to a spot on Dancing with the Stars. Bill has been eating up the spot light and now, Bill can be at your door every month.

Bill Nye will now send you a box of personally curated knick-knacks every three months! The subscription-based mailing service, called Quarterly Co., sends boxes of personal favorites from "influential contributors" of your choice every three months

According to Quarterly Co., the packages will contain "a collection of tools to change the world and raise awareness of environmental issues."

"Since the longest journey starts with but a single step, I hope my mailings will give our subscribers some scientific insight and some cool tools to do a little bit more with a little bit less," Nye explained. "I'm talking about items and ideas to change the world."

I'm sure the box will prove to be exciting and lead you on all kinds of adventures. The service will start next month, if you're interested.

As soon as he waded into the advocacy arena his objectivity is now gone and I lost all respect for him. Appearing dancing in the stars cemented his status as a scally-wag.

I feel the same…..

This guy I have always respected… Neil deGrasse Tyson, but I saw some of the latest symposiums he was on (You Tube) for a discussion if it goes into government involvements. He really goes ballistic in defending science and really aggressive in budget cuts to science....

….. kinda remind me of Roger Pink with out the extreme liberal slant.

If he goes to a political advocacy arena, I'll sit him in a room next to Bill Nye………. (2) goes in, and (1) comes out.

Yeah, Bill Nye is a mechanical engineer. He has no business acting like an environmental scientist. He doesn't know anything special about the environment.
