New Mobile Crane Hits the Highway

Posted March 20, 2014 12:00 PM by Engineering360 eNewsletter

One of the world's leading manufacturers of heavy-duty cranes is about to introduce a 135 ton/150 ton mobile rough terrain crane onto the global heavy lifting arena. The three-axle crane might be equipped to handle heavy lifts, but it's also highly maneuverable with low profile tires that need never be removed during transport. It's also outfitted with a 59.5 m six-section boom that can be extended another 20 m with optional swing-away bi-fold.
