The Touchy Feely Side of Wireless

Believe it or not, there is a growing field of study focused on consumers' experience with their wireless devices. Quality of Experience (QOE) takes into account feelings, economics, satisfaction, etc. - all important considerations in the evolution of wireless technology. QOE use is growing as vendors struggle with the dichotomy of offering faster services in networks that are becoming more congested, and slowing down service, which in turn is negatively impacting the consumer experience. Thus, QOE could help vendors figure out how to offer a more consistent experience for users.
