Ah, so that was how Giuseppe Bentivoglio, engineer and technical director of the Opera del Duomo, really fixed it!

Just a matter of perspective and clever engineering.

A fine example of a picture that doesn't require a caption.

It says everything itself.

You would have thought it'd be paid for by now, but there's still a "lien lean" on the property.

Re: Caption This for 09/18/15

My wife, an accountant (not a bean counter - there is a difference), sent me this 3 months ago with the caption: "How to drive an Engineer crazy".

So far, I have stuck my finger in my ear up to the elbow - and still can't scratch the itch this picture causes in my brain.

That Mrs. Megawatt is a mean woman!

Hope you all enjoy the paradox of "Building straight" or "Picture straight". Sorry about the brain itch!

Here's my Friday Poetic attempt:

  • If a hundred CR4's had that frame,

(I won't try next Friday...... :)

Really, there is *NO* 'perfect caption' for this, because the picture says it all.

Download the picture and sent it to thereIfixedit.com

(Now the question for the peanut gallery: Am I making a political comment here, or yet another bird pun?)
