This would bring the "hook-a-fake-snake-on-a-string-to-somebody" to a whole new level.

At the returns counter:

Customer:

OK, I'm telling you this cord is shorter than advertised! I want my money back!

Clerk:

I'm sorry, but I don't see the problem.

I eventually found, over much time, (I'm quite slow that way), that if I drop a light...it usually breaks, and I have to buy or "borrow" another one.

Only $1.98 for a product not yet developed....hmmmmm....initial offering would be much greater in price, therefore this must be a picture from a future date. Did you enlist help from a certain Glifreyan???? Who? you say.

I'd never buy it! I'd worry about tripping over it!

Seems like it would be very easy to shoplift it.

(or if it still set off the security scanner at the exit, it might be fun to drop them into other unsuspecting customer's carts and watch the mayhem!)

They're used as a draw string for an invisibility cloak. Harry Potter bought the last one.

What a rip off for less then $7.00 you can buy 650 yards of 20lb fishing line. After hanging the picture you go fishing.
