It looks like Dutch Colonial architecture (gambrel style roof), and to me, it looks like a school building with all of the windows and the two entrances visible.

Printmeister was correct in guessing The White Horse Tavern in Newport, Rhode Island. In fact, the tavern is actually the oldest building remaining in Rhode Island since it was built in 1652. However, in 1652 the structure was actually the two-story residence of Francis Brinley. It was not until 1673 that the structure was converted into a tavern.
