Missing the fountain in the front. The symbol of a wedding on it (Or Mars or man) it might be a town hall somewhere.

That's a very good point. The gnomon rod is parallel with the earth's axis, so its angle with respect to the horizon should be the latitude, assuming it is adjustable. But maybe it's a generic version set at about 40 degrees.

Well the windows of the first floor for sure. Notice the damage? The upper floor is intact, so might be a unruly area!

Unsatisfied husbands maybe! And to be gender neutral/political correct, unsatisfied brides!

No I do not think its in Russia.

Somewhere Europe but not Austria (I hope).

Last week’s building was a little bit tricky because it was actually constructed in Washington, Connecticut by Fairfax & Sammons. The architect writes that the inspiration for the building came from the “ruggedness of the site.” Specifically, the architects turned to the Scottish Palladian architect William Adam and the “late baroque flourishes” found in his work.
