I believe you should reverse the order of your two steps, for the benefit of those who read and follow one step at a time.

...or was the original post a solution to a leaky valve?

A criticism of the "Caption This" blog: Photos that include humans provide more possibilities for creative humour. Generally, photos of silly contrivances limit the responses to riffs on that silliness, and therefore lack the prime ingredient of humour - the unexpected.

It is possible to humorously riff on an already humorous image. Norm MacDonald's joke about the frog that walked into a bank and asked for a loan, is proof of that. But these images of silly contrivances with no human presence really limit the humour possibilities. "Boy, that sure is a funny/crazy/stupid contraption," is stating the obvious, and is not funny.

Re Purposing Existing Equipment

I didn't even have to buy a special machine.

I just put it in, close the lid, and my CPAP cleans itself.

I also do not need those annoying vaccine shots anymore, my immune system stays supercharged.
