Submariners Look to Linear Guides

For the 2007 International Submarine Race, New Jersey students built a full-scale manned submarine and used Igus Corp's DryLin T linear guide systems and bearings for the propulsion system. The bearings and guides improve the propulsion system's ability to convert arm and leg movements into rotational power for the sub's propeller.
