Robot goes bowling, gets angry

Posted January 17, 2008 12:13 PM

From Engadget:

Everyone knows you can't take a robot bowling. After a few pitchers of beer-flavored suds, deep-fried mushrooms, and pickled eggs even the most well-mannered robot will turn ugly. Bring a vision-guided, fireball-throwing industrial robot and it's guaranteed. Hey robot, this isn't 'Nam. This is bowling. There are rules. See for yourself after the break.

Unable to watch the Video, probably because of Telecom NZ my ISP bandwidth limits.

So much for their "Broadband" which is now slower than it was in 1999, and is actually now slower than their dial-up connection, way back in 1993.

Cause: Too many customers, on a long thin pipe.

Kind Regards....

You did not miss much as it is basically just destruction of a motorhome with bowling balls thrown by a car building robot from audi. Some balls were set on fire and they did it in the night.

Actually it was lots of fun thinking about it and typing this short resume out for you. Yeah you missed a heap of laughs, real sorry to hear you can't see it man.

That bandwidth thing where you live sucks, but you knew that already.

Still don't understand where the "angry" part came from?

Hello case491

Thanks for your interesting summary.

It is evident the 'angry' description in the Title, was just the common 'journalistic license'.

I didn't think the robot looked 'ugly' either.

Kind Regards....
