Genetically Engineered Cat Glows In the Dark

A genetically engineered cat named MR. GREEN GENES glows in the dark under ultraviolet light. Scientists at the Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species in New Orleans created the cat to see if it's possible to introduce non-cat genes (in this case, jellyfish genes) into cats as a first step in the development of gene therapies for humans.

I've long heard rumors - all unsubstantiated mind you - that our Del exhibits a bit of a glow after lapping up a few bowls of fermented catnip extract.
