Posted December 05, 2008 8:44 AM

Did your parents tell you to remember your scarf when you went out, so you wouldn't catch a cold? Today, the advice might be: Remember your cell phone. That system is no good.

What is needed is a sensor incorporated into the actual cellphone, which can register the microbes emitted in the breathing, coughing or sneezing.

Then the person knows for certain their sickness level.

A further refinement could be the addition of a loud warning emitted from the phone, saying "Unclean, unclean" thus warning nearby persons, or alternatively ringing their cellphones, and advising them to keep clear of the person who is emitting microbes.

Kind Regards....
