Too late now, mission accomplished. Scientists voted and "truth" has already been elected. Global warming/CO2 related laws/taxes are in effect, who gives a f*ck about science, when a little "democracy transvesty" does the trick? S.M.

The cartoon left out the Sunspot Cycle.
Frankly, I'm more interested in what's happening (or, not happening) on the Sun. It is currently undergoing a very weak sunspot cycle. Historically, weak sunspot cycles are associated with much colder temperatures across much of the globe.

Weak sun spot activity,.... that sounds serious considering that there is also strong sun spot activity. This is beyond my understanding of the possible effects.
And somewhere out there, there is a bodiless chicken clucking away...... there seems to be a hidden meaning in that last statement,... but I can't seem to find it.

GA! Me too as we have absolutely no control over when or to what degree the reaction will be when it happens.
I do hope I am not in Yellowstone nor within 500 miles of the area when the big boom takes place.
Hopefully one of these days we will have the equipment and technology to accurately predict earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tornados, and long term weather patterns.
If that ever happens we will be able to get people out of harms way long before it is too late.

Exactly.
I'll start believing in 'global warming' when the folks who keep sounding the alarm about 'global warming' start acting like they believe in 'global warming' themselves.

I started questioning GW when it was literal being shoved down my throat with a 'Trust me' attitude yet I see their own actions..
And just because I question it, doesn't mean I don't believe climate change is happening. I just challenge things that I perceive as questionable with hypocritical actions.

Ice flows do not form during a freezing process. They form during a thawing... oh never mind. The preconception process is never burdened by any thought process.

I think back in the 90's when Al Gore was promoting his Chicken Little movie he claimed repeatedly, "all the sea ice will be gone by 2015" satellites don't lie, sea ice is still here in record quantities in select locations( and less in several other places)<< thats how nature works. but it certainly hasn't left entirely as predicted.
you don't need to bust every detail of a lie, just enough to show it's bull. I'll be gone in 1000 years, sea ice will remain

Well thats the whole problem with a living climate.
It keeps changing all the time then add in that no media or politician will ever admit that some places got better as their climate changed and well.........
Personally the climate in my area has improved noticeably in the last 30 years so I would kindly appreciate it if everyone else would stop trying to keep things from getting better or trying to get things to revert back to where they were.
