Once it is sufficiently chilled I suspect the conductor on the wire on the left side of the picture will superconduct. I hope the gentleman with the tie is not holding it any longer when it does superconduct.

Well what look like tinned copper lugs on each end of the conductor on the right are a bit of a giveaway unless someone has developed a copper to semiconductor lug that I am not aware of.
