Neither. Both wires are at room temperature.

Once it is sufficiently chilled I suspect the conductor on the wire on the left side of the picture will superconduct. I hope the gentleman with the tie is not holding it any longer when it does superconduct.

Well, once the environmentalists find out about this they'll go after him for contributing to global magnetization.

The one with the tie is probably the super visor, so he must have the super conductor.

I didn't see any one wearing a super-visor. Obviously, neither one of these fools has a clue about NFPA 70E 2015 standards about allowing an unqualified person within the arc flash threshold radius.

As far as I can read the poster at the back "New Superconductors Enable High-Field Devices Smaller, Cheaper Fusion Reactors" - from its context, I bet the handsome guy with the neck tie carry the thing and the other is holding a whip, probably.

Well what look like tinned copper lugs on each end of the conductor on the right are a bit of a giveaway unless someone has developed a copper to semiconductor lug that I am not aware of.

Not fair, the one on the left does not show the cooling fluid jacket or refrigerator kit.

And has anyone made a viable fusion reactor yet, let alone a smaller cheaper one?
