Climate Hustle

12/01/2015 6:37 PM

I did some interesting reading today. Looks like my pal Al Gore wont be in the movie biz running his truths unopposed. this Pearl Harbor day a movie is set to debut in Paris......yes timed for the carbon summit. I'm pretty interested to see the public reaction. if nothing else it should offer fuel for a few threads

as usual....I'm not endorsing a thing. but I want to see this puppy

My, my.........

Yes, inconvenience is again creeping into the discussion here.

For more than 10 years, satellite photos have been used to say that the "Polar ice is melting"....never saying which pole...eventually focusing on the North Pole (since we live in the northern hemisphere for those in Europe, North America, Canada....)

Now, we see from years of data and satellite imagery that the South Polar ice is increasing at an alarming rate.

And now, the "sky is falling" liberal-political-mindset-climate-change-or-change-the game-by-changing-the-name aficionados are balking at the use of satellite imagery to study ice accumulation at the earth's poles....especially at the SOUTH POLE (because THAT just doesn't count!)

Truly amazing....

The cliques cannot let information get in the way of the hand-picked disinformation. Some of these folks really missed a career opportunity in Iraq as the Minister of Dis-Information (although the dude they had in that job was fantastic at lying in a rather bold-faced manner).

Speaking of environmental fiasco: All the nerve-agent seen being exported to Syria early on in our "invasion" of Iraq in Operation Desert Storm, I suppose those were the nerve gas weapons Saddam Hussein had used on the Kurds, that later were used by Bashir against his own Syrian residents. My wife has told me over and over about aerial photographs clearly showing truck convoy leaving westward into the Iraqi desert, with what appears to be large canisters, missiles or some such on them. Then all the chemical weapons of mass destruction that about 16-20 different intelligence agencies (of different countries) agreed that Hussein had at his disposal, had suddenly vanished, and "never existed" in the statements of the conspiracy theorists. One of the problems we are going to have in this new global world war against radical islamic terrorists is the simple fact that Americans have problems sorting out truth, and keeping it that way, once the truth has been manifest.

Seems more like a pollution problem.

Seems to be more related to some local weather pattern.

Seems non-logical to post this in a "climate" thread.

Seems we need a new thread to tackle pollution.

I have been to Beijing and enjoyed a fantastic day with a glimpse of a blue sky but I also have seen the shops where they sell masks.

The main pollution is fine particles.

And the Chinese know that they just have to shut down some power plants to get rid of the pollution for a day or two.
