Yes, basket fungus, Ileodictyon cibarium. Australia is one place it grows.

A false color electron(?) microscope image of a Bucky Ball, aka a fullerene.

At least that's what I think Fredski will take from this image.

appears to be a 3D printed red pretzel made with cheap Chinese filament. it's possible the printers extruder was designed to run @ 60 HZ but the printer was run on 50 cycles and the temp of the extruder was wrong

Yes, Fredski, that HAS to be the correct answer to "

What will be Fredski's take on this is what? - therefore good answer.

Otherwise I smell the pungent odor of fungus among us. That appears to be deadly, is it?

It is indeed a fungus. Edible when young, but not very tasty. (So I hear)

Fancy? I'd say so. 3D printed? by nature.

Pretzel flavor = 0

Worm wagon = 0

So how is it with shrimp salad, shrimp kabobs, or shrimp stir fry?

Probably ok with a jumbo cocktail, but I'd leave the shrimp out of it.

Shrimp salad? Beef Salad? Why not add cake and finish the meal.

ROFLMAO! Good point. Sadly, I am no particular fan of consumable fungi, unless these are first baked in the risen bread, or present in beer or wine.
