Where do you think the minimum sag point will be? Where should it logically be?

An online search of "conductor sag" produced over 400,000 results (including the math) for your further education. Enjoy.

A little sag is necessary when it comes to overhead line construction and operation, less so for other things.

Lack of sag can be an even worse problem in power lines, such as if they break or pull poles over.

The term "maximum sag" can have at least three different definitions, none of them matching that of the OP.

"Your local pharmacist may be able to help"

LOL! I got it...

There are numerous other similar directions that could have gone as well, especially for women...

"Sag happens".

Not all the time,... some designs incorporated catenary sag in its designs as a natural tensioner.

Center Drive conveyors is one that comes to mind where catenary sag is used as the conveyor belt tensioner.

S=W*L2/8T

S=W*L (squared) /8T

W=weight of conductor

L= span length x span length

T= Tension.
