I understand how a lie detector works. Has anyone developed a lie detector that is wireless and reads variations in speech patterns and/or the sound of the human voice when calm and under stress? It would seem to be a great idea to be able to "listen" to a person speaking and be able to detect whether that person is speaking the truth or lying. It would be especially good when listening to politicians. I know there are voice analysis machines that can compare speech patterns, but can it detect lies?
