Choice between C++ and VB.

Any language / package you know will be the best to use. You should not change over because anybody else advise you that it is better. If you change over or cannot use anything yet you will be at a disadvantage because you will fight the language instead of your project.

For further guidance please ask a specific question containing your thoughts and calculations.
