Climate Change - Again

07/13/2017 9:00 AM

According to a claim made on the radio this morning, the most significant influence one can make towards reducing human-induced climate change, is to have one less child.

This doesn't leave me many options. What am I supposed to do with the one that I already have?

Interesting dilemma.

I read somewhere that government social programs need a population growth of at least 2.2 percent per annum to be sustainable economically over a long period of time. But the environment can't support that much growth indefinitely.

Guess we'll have to go with zero population growth and then start taxing the robots.

In the meantime I've seen an awful lot of kids and parents in the checkout line at the supermarket I'd like to remove from the gene pool.

I think the one less child should have been the person who came with this stupid idea.

It's not really <...stupid...>: were the human population to decay hypothetically to zero then human-induced climate change would stop. Which is quite logical, really. The bottom would drop out of the cast iron bath market, obviously.

As a descendant of one of the founding members, I can attest that Murder Inc. was active primarily in the NYC area, with some nefarious goings-on in Las Vegas and Florida.

Please to meet you, then you also know as I do....

As a OEM of Process equipment in the food and dairy industry I can attest that Murder, Inc laundered it's ill gotten gains in the Midwest using Cheese processing plants as fronts... and when the FBI were on to them, they then opened branches in Canada.

Cross them, and they'll reach out and touch you from NYC.

I take that back,... I know of one greedy plant owner that crossed them, even though he lost the plant, they lived... though dumb luck.

The FBI had a magnifying glass on them, they couldn't even fart without the Feds knowing it.... and then they had a management change,... where it was a vacuum for a few years until John Gotti 'took' control.

It was dumb luck.

So that is where the anonymous cell phone call was from this morning. Not even heavy breathing, or anything useful, or asking for a donation to some Rebumplican Senator's re-election pack.

So then we will be like Communist China (and others) where the government dictates to you if you can have children, and how many without incurring a penalty (up to death??). I say screw that, impale it on a stake, and burn those governments down to the ground. Liberty! Liberty! Liberty!

Mother Earth alone knows how generous she is, and we are charged with unlocking her true potential, to the narrow-minded idiots, I say go back in your dark corner and shut the hell up, and don't ever come up again.

I feel sorry for you, if you have not yet figured out that the government does not know what is best for you, they are trending on a par with Murder, Inc.

BTW, if the government is irritated by someone, anyone, including me, do not be deluded into thinking they will not get you by the short hairs.
