Today is the 203rd anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth. According to researchers at Rice University, humans continue to evolve -- let's hope towards continuous improvement.

One thing for sure, with so much human DNA being expressed (so many of us) it seems like mother nature is getting us ready for a selection event. I kind of expect humans to survive the next major wave of evolution, at least as a relict.
In honour of the day why not pop over to the Darwin Awards website and check out the interesting ways some people have removed themselves from the gene pool.
Strange the allusion to an intelligent agent, e.g. Mother Nature, behind this 'random' process that organises our 3 billion DNA base pairs in the right order time after time.
Seems to me, intelligent design is logical.
