Hi, forgive me by my English. I like to ask if anyone can give me an example of a spherical Reservoir with pressure inside and outside, i was asking for a practical example, that exist in industry or on some other side. I have an example, that is a spherical Reservoir that contains gas and is under water, that way his have pressure on both sides, but there is a problem i don't know where this exist and don't have any image.

Please help me. thanks.

Are you asking about something like a diving bell or a salvage balloon?

Citroen cars have used spherical accumulators for suspension and brakes. This site shows some pictures.

If I read the original question correctly, you initial respondents are not taking into account that the requestor asks about pressure inside and outside the sphere, a la a sphere at some depth under the surface of a lake or the ocean. I don't assume that 1 atmosphere is what the requestor had in mind. I did some work developing an acoustic monitor that was to be dropped onto the bottom of the ocean to record ship's propeller frequencies and associate those sounds with satellite photos of the ships in question, with a very limited water seepage under significant pressure. But maybe my experiences are coloring the way I read the original request.

"I have an example, that is a spherical Reservoir that contains gas and is under water, that way his have pressure on both sides,"

If it were not under water it would have atmospheric pressure on the outside!

Spherical storage vessels are used for storage of high pressure gasses as a spherical shell has the greatest volume for the least amount of 'skin' or tank wall material and also a uniform stress distribution. All storage vessels have internal pressures due to depth of liquid and any over pressure as well as the external atmospheric pressure.

Here is something that might be helpful.

Tank Technologies

Photos of a large tank IF it can be located again.

For a real world example, how about the real world. It's close enough to being a sphere. Perhaps a bathysphere?
