Everything is recycled. It's only a question of defining the timescale.

Quang Yo, In my experience, the length of fibers (fibres) will be shorter in recycled(reprocessed) materials due to the effects of processing. I won a very expensive ruthenium plated pen from Tiffany's once by selecting the recycled sample of newsprint out of a tablet of virgin newsprint. it was clear to see- the virgin newsprint had much larger "chunks" or grains /fiber structure of inclusion material. The recycled, having been processed additional times, had no large "goobers" they had been digested in the multiple steps.
This same reasoning should apply to paper string, look at fiber length. Virgin material should have longest fibers, recycled, on average, much shorter.
If you use 30 samples your average will be statistically valid use student -t test for significance between averages.
