We have an issue at hand presently where there are opinions that vary on whether or not temporary employee should be permitted to drive these type of vehicles.
We our a manufacturing facility for the most part. There are also sites that have regional distribution sectors. The turnover is higher, the product damage is higher, and the racking as well.
Some of the safety personnel "feel" we should not place temporary employees on vehicles that can cause damage or worse.
Would someone have any data that would be available to justify the statement of not placing temporary employee's on this type of vehicles ( HILO) ( FORKLIFT)
We are in Michigan, but have facilities within the USA.
