make a paper reduction program like implement paperless document like emails, soft copies, avoid unnecceessary copies and use useful softwares that would reduce you in using paper. or you cando this , use paper back to back, that will cut out paper output up to 50%.

Big improvement starts with small changes
Excessive paper use is caused by human behaviour and it will be hard to cure.
In engineering some paper use are already reduced to the bare minimum by using CAD etc software.
Some paper use for example reference material can be reduced by using computers instead of hard copies.
The main opportunity for reducing paper use in the sector can be by minimizing the paperwork involved with tenders. The legal requirements however seems to dictate some excessive use.
Another area where paper use can be reduced drastically is with workshops / conferences etc on environmental and other issues. It is very common for each delegate to receive a 100 pages (or more) reference material when registering. Most of the material is never used.
The popular paper for convenient disposable products are also quit high.
Paper tissues are used and disposed off by the millions. I know it is biodegradable but it cannot be recycled. Imagine Kleenex advertising recycled paper tissues or Slightly soiled reused disposable nappies.

Never do today what you can put of until tomorrow - Student motto
Most paper sheets are written on one side only. Draw a bold diagonal line through the text and turn it over. Collect similar. Voila! One never needs to buy a scrap paper pad again.
There are only five things one can do with a piece of paper.
File it.
Bin it/recycle it/initiate combustion with it.
Take action on it.
Give it to someone else.
Re-use the back.

I will suggest you a diiferent way. Keep a sheet of paper or a small note book at your printer. Let the print takers note in that book how many prints they have taken, the purpose, both sides or the one side. Then after a short period say one week, you analyse the usage of your printer. Now you can find so many unwanted prints, which may not be taken compulsorily. You can use the alternative methods of Soft copy, etc. Also the other good thing is, just make a note of important points in you pad, or a book waht ever it may be. So that you may remember ir very well. If you see the Most effective people, they will always have a pen or pencil intheir hand and they will just keep on writing even when they talk. This is good habit. Let your coleagues excersise it. May God Help you.
