Neither do I. However, you have to look at your own resume and determine how each experience would contribute toward strengthening your resume.

At least in the USA, the average job length for an engineer is about 5 to 7 years, then they move on for a number of reasons. I don't know where you live or plan to work, so it may be different.

It also will depend on your career goals. If you are finishing your career, then you may have one set of criteria for a prospective job. If you are starting your career, then you have a different set of criteria to satisfy.

If your career is in its early stages you want to enrich your experiences and training as much as possible. Everyone gets paid for the programming between their ears and you would be wiser to chose opportunities that offer the best chance to expand your learnings and skills so that you can grow and have the best opportunities for the next job or assignment.

Unless you are looking for a job to nest in and retire from, chose the industry that offers the best future for you and not the best future for the industry.

it seems to me that building automation has a larger range of possibilities (think of management of resources) and thus interest; variety is the spice of life.

as someone said, if you ask enough people you will eventually find someone to advise you to do what you really were going to do anyway.

Which fits in better with your lifestyle? If you are single...which has the greater number of potential partners?!

Failing that, apply the coin test.

Say job A is heads, job B is tails...
Flip the coin...If you find yourself saying 'Make it best of 3 flips' then you know that you really want the other outcome!

If you have no apparent preference, than perhaps you ought top decide on reputatoions of the companies making the offers.

I predicted fuel cells would be in electriccars by the 1990's when I first learned aboutthem in the 1970's.. predicting the future isn't really a precise art. we will have electric cars sooner, but fuelcells arestill a long way off.

But frankly, you should go with your passion whatever you really like. If you get a job that you really love, then every day is bonus.

I recommend that you don't proceed with either appointment until you have resolved problems with your communication skills!

r = are

1 = one

exp = doubtful!

plz =

I hope your CV and covering letter didn't contain such abbreviations! If you don't know how to spell the complete word, there is a spell checker!

There you go again, no capital letters or full stops. It's just lazy or you have been spending too much time sms'ing on your mobile phone.

It also infers that you don't care about our extra time to decipher!

Hello Guest.

<"Please check sentence">

The nature of the crime and the ruling of the Judge, determine the sentence.

Very much better!

It's so much easier to read. Everyone has an occasional typo' but us old school engineers have also had to get to grip's with a keyboard (late in life) and we can just about manage to get it right!

Oh, there was still one mistake but I'm going to let that go as a typo' too!

I wish you the best of luck in whichever direction you go!
