I have to give a little background on this. And I do not mean it to degrade professions or surnames, but for the most part it may come off sounding like it.
I was driving into work this morning, and the local radio station had a contest the 20th caller would get free tickets to a show or concert at the theater that's playing.
The radio announcer told the 20th caller she's the winner. And asked what she was doing today.
Her reply was she and her husband was going to the doctor for a vasectomy consultation.
All 3 radio announcers never expected that reply. They talk to her and asked to talk to the husband, for which he was very responsive to. (After all she did win the tickets)
Then one of the announcers asked if it was Dr. Mc Nut that they were consulting with. The others thought that was a joke but the announcer said that he was one of the specialist in that area, and also a very good one. Of course one of the radio announcers (who was the clown of them) asked if his first name was Richard… well you understand where that was going.
But that's what got me thinking about names occupations, and addresses, and how they can be construed to stereotyping or related to the occupation, by coincidences or chance.
So that's the first one, Dr. Mc Nut whose specialty is vasectomy's.
A simuliar note, In Green Bay, Wisconsin, there's a street called Crooks Street. And guess what businesses are established there. Well I'll give you a hint another name it could be called is "Attorney's Row". I think its fitting, but then again. I don't hold most attorneys in high esteem.
I was just wondering has any CR4 members met or worked with colleagues or knew of anybody that their names are somewhat related to their profession.
