Start by defining the industry, the pollutants, their levels, the emissions constraints, etc.

Hard to control what you cant measure. Start by measuring it.

As a engineer,

First we have to list out the processes/material which are creating pollution & impacting environment towards global warming.

Next, we have to source an alternative material/processes (Environmental friendly), if not atleast we put an control over the source generating pollution.

Also you can go for EMS certifications ( Ie., ISO 14001, etc..) which will restrict ourselves to some extent..

Added, you should create a environmental awareness to your supplier, Employee as well as customer...

Pollution of Land, Water, Atmosphere, Air, Sound etc??

You seem to be in the HVAC industry which should be well controlled. Comply with prescribed regulations, standards, code, law etc. And don't test the limits.

In your private time you can take a decision never to pollute.

Some pollution (biodegradable) can be accommodated by nature but excessive volumes cannot be tolerated.

yes.... its good way of controlling pollution....

by making all industries into specified standard level...

AND

also Rapid Recirculation of Industrial Waste Materials will reduce congestion...

THIS IS ONE OF OUR DUTY IN INDUSTRIAL POLLUTION REDUCTION.

If by "Rapid Recirculation of Industrial Waste Materials " you mean recycling, I could go along. But that is not enough, and can be viewed as a waste all by itself.

The real method is to eliminate waste.

Find and eliminate waste. Find and eliminate waste. Find and eliminate waste!

By improving processes and reducing materials and energy required.

Repeat.

Many times.

Buffalo Bill could have used a little of that advice. We have had so many resources and wildlife wiped out by the attitude that there is "no end to it".

If you look at computer memory, back when it was hard to come by we tried to use every byte effectively. Now programmers use it like there is no end to it. And they might be right.

Sort of like "just say no" sounds so simplistic that it shouldn't have to be said. "eliminate waste" is just as profound and far reaching.

So good answer.
