At first I thought it was going to be lame, but that ended up being pretty cool. I wish my machines would sing' a happy tune. Mostly I hear my annoying Roto-phase and something that sounds like my wife yelling above the noise to call me for dinner, oh... there she is again. Neat post Milo!

Neat! My efforts always sound like the finale from 1812 (Damn! There goes another apron!).

If I was to return to Rochester New York in the winter, I would late at night in deep snow record the railroad trains of the roundhouse the engineers move in a symphonic improvisational way.

I swear they must do it for pleasure, as they did nights on my walks in moon boots I heard.

Well do a good job recording it and send it to Ambiance whose iphone app allows one to download it to their smart phone device. Besides the more 'natural' sounds I have downloaded, I have downloads of a vintage computer room, a submarine, a quarry, gas furnace burners, and a conflagration. They offer trains"midnight express", inside a quiet train, a harley davidson, water treatment plant, and a classic jeep v8 engine among other more 'relaxing' things. Here's a link to a review: http://www.iphoneappreviews.net/2009/08/04/update-ambiance/ milo

Hi Milo

Reminds me of an old printer friend of mine. He had a dozen Heidelberg printing presses running at the same time. He told me (as drunk as he was) that he could hear a symphony when they were all running at their best. He could hear were to take his oilcan and if the mis-tune would not disappear he would give them a kick in the right spot. He had his Orchestra under control in a real practical sense.

Thanks for the link, Ky.
