How to contact CR4 Admin.

I would like to post a question message to CR4 administration. How does one do it. Will appreciate instruction.

In that case, just start an obnoxious thread. Some Admin is bound to show up sooner or later, and then you can interact.

If you don't already know how to do this, check out some threads/posts by Gobani1966, portugalphilip, DougRH, MSDivekar, or walksinstorms. Piece of cake.

I did not know, Tornado, that asking the admin a a legitimate and civil question is "Starting An Obnoxious Thread." What is so obnoxious about it?? Please explain.

I think you misunderstand. No way is your question inappropriate. But if you notice a number of recent threads, you will see that various comments alleged to be out of line do indeed draw the attention of Administration.

I was being a bit facetious. Sorry if I seemed unclear.

How about sending a registered member a mail with the following content:

"May Almighty God have justice on your worthless damned soul. You are the most profoundly obnoxious and stupid individual I have yet encountered on CR4.

Eugene R. Walker"

This is copy of the mail that I recieved from Tornado. Says alot about the individual I think. This is abuse of CR4 mail and Admin have been contacted to see if they will act to ban this individual from future acts of bullying.

Thank you for your well considered reply. However, it is a pity that you felt the need to post anonymously.

So do you have any comment on the mail that I received from one of the registered members ? I consider this to be inappropriate and a blatant act of intimidation. I was hoping that you would have a view point since you clearly spend quite a bit of time composing your slating post about me.

My feelings/views are that those with Guru status often act inappropriately and that Admin allows this to happen - the mail that I received shows this I believe.

For all my faults, and there are many, at least I had the courage to register and I have stood behind my posts all the way to the bitter end - which is probably coming closer and closer. I could have posted as a Guest but I believe that that is a cowardly way of doing things.

Please note that I am not denying or trying to justify anything that you wrote about me. I am sure that you will get quite a number of GA's and in fact I have given you one since it was a well thought out post. I on the other hand do not expect any GA's nor any support for my views, perhaps because others do not have the same opinion or perhaps because they fear retaliation for expressing their opinions/ support.

Just to put the record straight, I am not the member Portugalphilip. I have seen how Portugalphilip was treated and it was disgraceful to say the least and the fact that everyone jumped to the conclusion that I am Portugalphilip says enough. However I do not expect that you will believe me.

Somehow I don't believe you will ever learn anything new, or change in any way for the better......

If your "raison d'etre" is only to be unfriendly and unmannerly, there really is not many good things going for you in your life is there?

So this is probably as good as it gets for you, someone argues with you......and asks you to better yourself......but you still carry on as though you are the single most important person here......have you not understood - you are not wanted here!!!

You make me sick......which is probably the whole "sick" reason you screw around here.....

we all recognize PP's writing style [any second now there will be mutterings in portugese]

Many of us do stick together, not out of some artificial construct of being a "Guru"

But we support those that have successfully "done", lived to tell the tale & are gracious enough to share that accumulated knowledge with all of us...

As with anyone who has lived more than a little life there are for all of us certain "touchy" subjects.

Example:

if you want to see a 1000 word rant write something about the inferiority of synthetic oil, AG will be there within minutes.

In the end the Guru's Aguest abhors fall on the side of logic, science & practicality

on the subject of the moderators/admin OBO's [our benovolent overlords], have very little to do with what happens on a regular basis here on the site [much to their credit]. There are so many of them [10?] the reaction is very individual, many of the Guru's receive far more scrutiny than the average new member. The scrutiny is mostly because we're entertaining. The entire purpose of CR4 is content, entertainment, a diversion for the manager searching for a technical solution
