Circuit to Change Supply with a Button

11/07/2010 11:47 PM

A 3v supply on my circuit can supply constant power to a component per time. i have two power demands(Components). i need to be able to interchange power from the 1st power demand(component) to a second power demand(2nd component) by pressing a button. i.e i want to be able to cut off supply from the 1st component and connect to a second component using a button and vice versa. what circuit can i use to achieve this. Thanks

You don't need a circuit. You need a switch.

A single-pole double-throw switch. (Or, if both legs must be isolated, a double-pole double-throw switch.)

It can be done with a flip-flop and solid state or normal relays.

Do a search on Flip-Flop circuits. You should be able to find a push-button type toggle circuit. Use flip-flop outputs to drive circuit suitable for driving a double throw relay. If you need more than that, then I think maybe you should find someone who understands circuit design to help with your project

Zerry, I agree with lynlynch. Your continued use of the site as a free advertising platform is shameful.

I see five of your seven posts are moderated out; the two remaining posts contain your website link, and have not yet been discovered.

Bad form, Zerry.
