Pump Diesel

What would be the most economical idea to pump a barrel of diesel from ground level to a tank situated 4m above ground?

I am presently using a hand pump which requires frequent maintenance.Also, it is very tiring to pump with that.

Suggest an alternative.

There are some 12v diesel transfer pump kits available for under US $100.

Remember to enroll at a gym to catch up on the exercise you are going to loose out on.

Or, if you have compressed air, you could modify the small barrel plug with a schrader valve and the large one with a sealed hose that would go from the bottom of the supply barrel to the storage tank.

Then carefully add air pressure until the fuel begins to flow. I'd be careful until I got the hang of this transfer method, but it would be cheap.

Dear Mr. arvinddg,

A miniature single phase pump of 0.3 KW pump will do the job. We have lot of pumps by brand name TULLU PUMP of different miniature pumps. This can pump to 5 Metre Level easily, If head is more, the power will go to 0.45 KW.
