Capacitor Experiment

04/12/2007 1:20 PM

I have here an experiment and I wanted to ask what you guys think about it.

I know that capacitors are very dangerous, but I think that in this case it is not so much. Isn't the electricity only running through it without charging it?

Input 220V AC/ Neutral, Rectifier 400Vrrm, Capacitor 3300uf/400V, Fuse 20A, NaHCO3 0.5Mol solution (If the picture is not readable)

I would like to have serious statements.

thank you

Very well said, Jack! With regard to the length of the thread, after a certain point it gets to be just watching Cops, it's a voyeuristic event. I keep coming back because it is more entertaining than watching my cat deal with the packing tape I left for her on the counter where she isn't supposed to go, but only a little bit so.

"...capacitors are very dangerous..."

So is fresh air.

And water.

Oh, and, er, quite a lot of other things.

This is such an explosive area, commercially, that the first individual to crack cold fusion stands to be set up for life by patenting the technology and licencing it worldwide.

So help from a public forum is only going to be moderate. The rest one must do for one's self.

PWSlack has neither gender, identity nor a bank account with which to receive gratitude. Unsubscription from this thread is imminent...

<Directed to everyone else here>....... <sigh>.

You see, this is what happens when people don't respond in a calm and logical manor. Rager and others are like Gazelle, if you want to pat them you don't wave your arms about and run up to them screaming "HELLO GAZELLE, I WANT TO PAT YOU!!!", they will just get defensive and run off and learn nothing. I hope he/she atleast took in some of what we said.

As for the obvious scam artists intentionally trying to peddle their free-energy crap here, well have at them.
