And now, you have asked this same question just five minutes ago.

Your panel will explode, killing everyone within two miles.

Well you are supposed to connect a 12V power supply to the solar panel (the battery), however if you neglect to connect the series diode between them (or connect it back to front) then you will have the generators fighting each other over who is the source and who is the load. Unlike Lyn's suggestion, the result is not that noisy (or fatal), but it will likely be hot, and may damage both your solar panel and battery.

This sounds like a good science experiment (just wear safety glasses).

tHE INDUCTION VARANINCE will be to low and the solar aperture will cavitate with solar inclination the best way is to introduce a variance spectrometer this will allow inductive current into the panel and even out the photon reaction inhibitor [YOUR VALVE.] ED MARTINEZ M.L.D

It just gets a little hotter in the sun. It can't get any hotter than it would if it were painted black or if it could be a near perfect black body absorber. Since it isn't it won't get that hot because some energy will be reflected. So effectively, nothing happens. Or another way to look at it is 0.6 amps x 0 volts = 0 watts. Of course there will be a voltage across the cell equal to the current developed x the effective resistance of the cell but still, not something to write home about...

If the polarity is incorrect, something will get very hot to the point where some form of overtemperature failure occurs. Make sure all CR4 readers have retired to a safe distance before this happens.

If the polarity is correct, then in the absence of a suitable blocking diode, the panel will charge the battery when the incoming sunlight is strong enough for the panel voltage to exceed the battery voltage and the battery will discharge through the panel when the incoming sunlight isn't strong enough, releasing heat. A blocking diode ensures that discharge through the panel doesn't happen.
