Well, they have already working reactor (1MW) for military since almost one year now - They will deliver another one ( more advanced) in April.

This reactor is called: Andrea Rossi's "E-Cat" Cold Fusion Reactor.

No, Rossi claims to have delivered an E-Cat to some completely unspecified military group which he also claims has been sucessfully testing it for a year. No independent verification of either of those statement exists.

Of course the true believers will dismiss this unpleasant truth with a wave of the hand, saying it's all top-secret and of course we don't know the details.

Of course something is going on regarding to Rossi's Reactor, but the problem is he is not willing to release any technical secrets regarding to his invention.

The only question about his reactor is how much heat it can generate via his fixed secrecy rubbing up against his spinning lies.

All what I know is , the gain of this reactor is "6" , the output energy is 6 times higher than the input energy.

You know this? You have measured it yourself under controlled conditions?

No, of course you have not. You have been told this by the inventor. And like all such scam artists he has refused requests to test his reactor under independently-controlled conditions.

Well, in the 21st century, all the new inventions are used only for the benefit of the inventor - no technical secrets are available for the public - no transparency any more.

Sorry, mate. It's not a question of transparancy. Rossi can easily keep the secret of how it works (generously assuming that it both does work and he actually knows why).

All he is being asked to do is to demonstrate that the device is not connected to alternate power source in any way, and to allow independent persons to freely measure the input and output as they wish. He's refused this most basic request. A true sign of a fraud.

Why you call it fraud ? did he ask you or any body else for money ?

He just sells what he builds and does not want to release technical secrets for public.

Absolutely correct. And it seems that what he's really building is a house of cards, a pile of (whoops, can't say that on here!)- anyways, a load of hyperbullbole. I'll let you figure out why he doesn't want to release details!!

Do not worry sir about the future of the solar energy, inside the E-Cat reactor there is atomic reaction similar to that one happening inside the sun.

Inside the E-Cat reactor is fantasy and madness....

Read the conclusions at:

New energy times articles by Steven B. Krivit Publisher and senior editor October 11,2012

Very interesting especially for people as you who can believe what Rossi wrote.

There is a paper about Investigations on Rossi's Energy Catalyser.

See previous thread on the topic (which I wrote after investigating his exciting claims) here.

The MULTI page reporter's investigation makes interesting reading.

This bald-faced scam is interesting only in its ability to interest or convince others that it is real.

But don't take my word for it, have a read of the article first (and perhaps a further look on the internet for other sources) and then post a response.

I've been a fan of the research on this topic for many years. so far even after repeated exciting promises it's never held up once tested by parties attempting to duplicate results. I'm still on the sidelines with the rest of the skeptics that would like to believe it's a viable source.......but not quite yet

If, as in #9, many times more energy comes out than goes in, why doesn't it swallow its own tail and instantly blow the universe to bits? Curious minds want to know...

I'm as sceptical about this as the next person, and I suspect your question is tongue-in-cheek, but if not, it's not a fair criticism.

The problem (or one of the problems) with "ordinary" hot fusion experiments (eg tokamaks) is that they need more input power, to produce magnetic fields etc, than they get out from the fusion, clearly a non-starter for a commercial power plant. If surplus power is achieved (it's been 50 years in the future for 50 years, and probably always will be) it will be a breakthrough, but not the end of the universe!
