Android Nightmare

09/25/2013 9:47 PM

So, I think this is self inflicted.

A few days ago I tried to install my work e-mail account on my phart smone.

I gave up after I had entered my account password, and thought I cancelled everything.

But, then when I tried to use my phone, it would only let me call 911.

Finally, after an hour at the vendors, and almost giving up, I got to the manager and she made an off hand comment about e-mail passwords, and I was able to input my password (that I thought I'd cancelled) and use the phone.

Now, I can't get into my CR4 account, no matter what I do. I've tried all the passwords I can think of. It keeps telling me invalid username or password.

Any ideas.

The 14 year old is at the mall now and I can't have him look at it.

My laptop and desktop are still fine.

Any thoughts?

No, he came home from the mall and fixed another real problem for me.

No 5 YO's here. Just 7 and 9 YO's and the teen.

Simple. Wait for the 14-yr-old to come home, and delegate finding the solution shortly after arrival. Meanwhile, cut the grass?

Until the 14 year old returns, I would try "re-booting" the phone. Turn the phone off, remove the battery, re-insert the battery, turn the phone on, enter your password, and try accessing CR4.

Good luck.

I have the passwords. They just don't work.

I'm not about to remove the battery as suggested by doggie.

The only time I really use it for CR4 is at 2:00AM when I wake up 2 P.

By the time I've got the message, I'm on my way back to bed anyway.

I'll give it to my resident IT kid tonight.

He'll probably have it working in less than a minute, and laugh at you.

Then try the internet auction site (names withheld) solution instead. All one does is list the item, and in a few days someone pays some money for the problem to be posted to another address. It certainly makes one feel better, and works every time.
