Name of the Support

Could you tell me the correct nomenclature of the support used inside the pipe to prevent sagging.

Yes... It's a Collapse-Prevention Constant-Diameter-Maintaining Internal Pipe Support. Make sure you include the dashes.

Not much of a pipe if it collapses under its own weight, is it? More of a hose.

For jacketed piping this are called spider..

We used to call them "spiders". Or "support spider".

But I see that I was beat to that answer....always check with the Old Salt...grin.
